Step 3: Applying the paragraph style (and nested character style)
Highlight the paragraph(s) that you would like the style applied to and click on the name of the style in the Paragraph Styles window. Any text before the em dash will appear in the nested character style; any text after the em dash will take on the attributes of the paragraph style.
