Next, let us add some text. If we add the number 12 at the top of the circle, then we can duplicate and rotate this to get the remaining 11 numbers.
Click on the type tool then click where you would like the number 12 to be centred, set your text attributes and type "12".
It is important that you ensure the alignment of the text is set to centred rather than left. If you copy and rotate a two digit number and change it to a single digit number, the position of the new number will only be correct if the text is aligned centre. (Choose Window > Type > Paragraph if your Paragraph window is not already open then click on the centre alignment icon.)
