QuarkXPress is used by just about every graphic designer on the planet. It is a precision tool used for the page layout aspect of electronic publishing. Powerful yet user-friendly, Quark can be used for putting together anything from a promotional flier to a film poster or magazine.
QuarkXPress Passport is a special edition of the software which includes features for multi-language publishing.

Macresource Computer Training offer a two day introduction and a one day advanced course on QuarkXPress. Our Introduction to QuarkXPress covers essential QuarkXPress concepts, tools and techniques.
Our Advanced QuarkXPress course shows experienced QuarkXPress users how to use the power features of the program when creating longer and more complex layouts and publications.
Buying QuarkXPress Software
QuarkXPress costs approximately £1,250, plus VAT. QuarkXPress Passport cost around £1,650.

Quark offer a trial version of QuarkXPress. It can be downloaded at the following URL:
The QuarkXPress tryout version has some limitations: it does not allow you to save, export, or print the artwork you create. Printouts are limited to a maximum of 5 pages and contain the words "QuarkXPress Demo". As well as this, the Save, Save as, Save Page as EPS, New - Library, and Collect for Output commands are all disabled.
