| About Fireworks |

Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Fireworks is a flexible and powerful graphics environment in which
both bitmapped and vector images may be used to generate artwork for
web pages. It also allows the creation of animations, buttons and
rollover effects, generating all of the HTML and JavaScript necessary
to make everything work.

| Macresource Computer Training offer Fireworks
training courses from beginner to advanced levels. Fireworks
is one of the regular scheduled computer training courses held at
our central London training centre, and we can also organise in-house
training anywhere in the UK. Our Introduction
to Fireworks course assumes no prior knowledge of web graphics
or of Fireworks and shows users how to create and optimise graphics
and animations. |

| Our Advanced
Fireworks course demonstrates the creation of complete web site
designs using slices, JavaScript rollovers and pop-up menus. |

| Buying Fireworks Software |
| Fireworks can be bought in two ways:
as part of Macromedia Studio 8 or as a separate package. Studio 8 comprises Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Contribute and FlashPaper. Studio 8 costs around £700, while Fireworks
on its own costs about £300. A range of generously priced
upgrades from various previous versions to the full Studio is also
available, making Studio 8 the best option for almost
all users. |

| If you do not own a copy of Fireworks
and are not ready or able to buy it, you can download a fully functional
version of the product from Macromedia's web site at the following

| Rather than disable some of the features
of the Fireworks MX trial version, Macromedia have chosen to make
it perfectly enabled. However, the software expires thirty days after
installation and can no longer be used. |
