| Macresource Computer Training offer FileMaker Pro training courses from beginner to advanced levels. FileMaker Pro is one of the regular scheduled computer training courses held at our central London training centre, and we can also organise in-house training anywhere in the UK. Our Introduction to FileMaker Pro course assumes no prior knowledge of FileMaker or of databases in general. It gives users a thorough grounding in using FileMaker databases, setting up new database files, defining fields and creating layouts and reports. | ||
| Our Advanced Filemaker Pro course concentrates on the creation of multi-file solutions and defining relationships. It also introduces ScriptMaker and the customisation of the user interface. | ||
| Our FileMaker Pro Scripting course shows how to add automation to your FileMaker Pro solutions using the ScriptMaker. | ||
| Buying FileMaker Pro Software | ||
| A single-user version of FileMaker Pro costs around £275, plus VAT. The package is dual-platform, containing both PC and Macintosh versions. A five user version costs around £1,000, plus VAT. | ||

| If you do not own a copy of FileMaker Pro and are not ready or able to buy it, you can download a fully functional version of the product from FileMaker's web site at the following URL: | ||
| The free trial version of FileMaker Pro has certain limitations. For example, any database files created with the product can hold a maximum of 50 records and any print-outs contain a watermark with the words "FileMaker Pro" on the background of each page. In addition, the trial version expires after 30 days. | ||
