| About ASP |
| Active Server Pages (ASP) are designed
to run on Microsoft's Internet Information Services (IIS) on a Windows
NT or Windows 2000 server. Active Server Pages offer a quick and easy
way of adding interactivity to web sites, especially in the way they
allow connections to be created to MS Access and other databases enabling
users to search and browse through stored information. ASP is normally
developed using VBScript - a variant of Visual Basic. |
|
|
| Our ASP Training Courses |
| Macresource Computer Training offer a
comprehensive 3 day Introduction to ASP. This
in-depth course is designed to thoroughly familiarise developers with
the Active Server Pages environment. We can also offer customised
training which focuses on how ASP would be used to develop a specific
project. |
|
| ASP Software |
| Active Server Pages can be run on several
Windows platforms. The environment in which Active Server Pages are
created, tested and run is Internet Information Services. IIS is an
integral part of Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000
Professional and Windows XP Professional. For testing and development
purposes on Windows 95 and Windows 98, Personal Web Server (PWS) can
be used. This is scaled-down version of IIS. |
