Training Course Advice
Which type of training |
| If your company only needs to have one
or two people trained, the most economical way to get trained is to
enrol on a public course. The same applies if you are a private individual.
Since we charge a flat rate for our on-site training services, this
offers the best value for money to those organisations who need to
train two or more members of staff on a software package and who have
the resources to organise the training on their own premises. If you
need more than two people trained but do not have suitable facilities
for training at your offices, then a closed course at our training
centre would be the best way to go. |

Timing a training course |
The
best time to learn a software package is when you have a pressing
need to use it. Training helps to demistify the package and make it
more accessible but to master a package, it is essential to follow
up the training by making regular use of the package. The worst time
to learn a softtware package is when you won't need to use the package
for some time. By the time you do get round to using it, you'll need
another training course The ideal cycle for learning a package is
initial training followed by usage followed by advanced or customised
training, followed by more usage. For example, after an introductory
training course on Macromedia Flash, you go away and start creating
animations and interactive presentations. A few months later when
you feel ready to to take your usage to the next level and get to
grips with the intracacies of ActionScript, you book some more training.
